Celebrate the 4th of July with the UIFU: Join Us for the Akron Independence Day Parade!

As we gear up for the Fourth of July, the United Independent Fabricators Union (UIFU) is excited to announce our participation in the Akron Independence Day Parade on July 4, 2022. This cherished local tradition celebrates our nation's independence and brings together community members, families, and organizations in a vibrant display of patriotism.

This year’s parade will kick off at 10:00 AM, starting from the Akron Public Library and making its way through the heart of downtown Akron. The parade promises an exciting array of floats, marching bands, and community groups, showcasing the rich spirit and unity of our community. The UIFU will have a prominent presence in the parade, featuring our own float that highlights the strength and solidarity of our members.

We invite all UIFU members and their families to join us in this festive celebration. Show your union pride by wearing your UIFU gear and walking alongside our float! It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow members and engage with the community while celebrating our nation’s freedom.

After the parade, stick around for the evening fireworks display, which will light up the Akron sky at 9:45 PM. This dazzling show is the perfect way to conclude a day of festivities, and we encourage everyone to gather with family and friends to enjoy the spectacle.
